RSBC070
- Error DTP cannot process all requests in the error stack. See long text. ?The SAP error message RSBC070 indicates that a Data Transfer Process (DTP) cannot process all requests in the error stack. This typically occurs in the context of data extraction and loading processes in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BW/4HANA.
Cause:
The error can be caused by several factors, including:
Data Quality Issues: There may be issues with the data being loaded, such as missing or invalid data that prevents the DTP from processing the requests.
Transformation Errors: If there are errors in the transformation rules defined in the DTP, it can lead to failures in processing the requests.
Request Status: The requests in the error stack may have a status that prevents them from being processed, such as being in a "failed" state.
Data Model Changes: Changes in the underlying data model (e.g., InfoObjects, InfoProviders) can lead to inconsistencies that cause the DTP to fail.
System Performance Issues: Resource constraints or performance issues in the SAP BW system can also lead to processing failures.
Solution:
To resolve the RSBC070 error, you can follow these steps:
Check the Error Stack: Use transaction code
RSA1
to access the Data Warehousing Workbench. Navigate to the DTP and check the error stack for specific error messages related to the requests that failed.Analyze the Requests: Identify the requests that are causing the issue. You can do this by checking the status of the requests in the DTP monitor (transaction
RSMO
).Review Transformation Rules: Ensure that the transformation rules are correctly defined and that there are no errors in the mapping of fields.
Data Quality Checks: Validate the data being loaded to ensure that it meets the required quality standards. Look for missing or invalid data that could be causing the failure.
Reprocess Requests: After addressing the issues, you can attempt to reprocess the requests. You can do this by selecting the requests in the error stack and choosing the option to reprocess them.
Check System Logs: Review the system logs (transaction
SLG1
) for any additional error messages or warnings that may provide more context about the failure.Consult SAP Notes: Check the SAP Support Portal for any relevant SAP Notes that may address known issues related to the RSBC070 error.
Performance Tuning: If performance issues are suspected, consider optimizing the DTP settings or the underlying data model to improve processing efficiency.
