RSAWBN047
- Data flow involves too many objects to be displayed ?The SAP error message RSAWBN047, which states "Data flow involves too many objects to be displayed," typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when you are trying to visualize or display a data flow that contains a large number of objects. This can happen in various scenarios, such as when you are working with complex data models or when there are many transformations, data sources, or targets involved in the data flow.
Cause:
- Complex Data Flow: The data flow you are trying to visualize has too many objects (e.g., InfoObjects, DataSources, DTPs, transformations, etc.) that exceed the display limit set by the system.
- System Limitations: SAP BW has certain limitations on the number of objects that can be displayed in a single view, which can lead to this error when exceeded.
- Performance Issues: The system may also restrict the display of complex data flows to prevent performance degradation.
Solution:
- Simplify the Data Flow: If possible, try to simplify the data flow by reducing the number of objects involved. This could involve breaking down complex transformations or data flows into smaller, more manageable parts.
- Use Alternative Views: Instead of trying to visualize the entire data flow at once, consider using alternative methods to analyze the data flow, such as:
- Viewing individual components separately.
- Using transaction codes like RSA1 to analyze specific parts of the data model.
- Check System Settings: Review the system settings or parameters that control the display limits. If you have the necessary authorizations, you may be able to adjust these settings.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to this error message for any specific recommendations or updates that may address the issue.
- Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists and is critical to your operations, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance. They may provide patches or additional guidance based on your specific system configuration.
