When you create an InfoPackage for texts, in certain cases, the message
<DS:NA.RSM1633>RSM1 633</> appears. This message indicates the
following problem:
Error message RSAR 527 "Error in structure alignment" may be displayed
when you load data. This error may occur before data is written to the
PSA or in the transfer rules.
Error RSAR 527 occurs in the transfer rules in the following cases:
Field assignment in the transfer rules
Source and target field are of type CHAR
Source field is longer than the target field
At least one multibyte code page or Unicode is installed on the BW
system
Characters are loaded from a language that is not installed on the BW
system
Before writing to the PSA, the error occurs under the conditions
described in SAP Note 625742.
Structure alignment problems may occur in the following cases:
When transferring data from a non-Unicode system with multibyte
codepages to a Unicode system
When uploading a file in ASCII format to a Unicode system if the file is
available as multibyte codepage
Error RSAR 527 can be prevented or resolved as follows:
Select the language field of the DataSource as a selection field.
If the DataSource does not contain a language field, switch on error
handling in the InfoPackage.
To use error handling, you have to load data via the PSA.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
