Message type: E = Error
Message class: RSAN_MDL - Messages on Analysis Object Model
Message number: 061
Message text: Syntax warning: delete data source query (&1) and recreate -> long text
For BW Release 3.50, the length of fields names was reduced to 30
characters. New functions in the Analysis Process Designer such as
intermediate results or data mining functions will not be supported
with longer fields names.
Old analysis processes that contain queries as data sources are affected
by this change. Here, the field names for display attributes and the
field names of the units and currency key of key figures have to be
renamed. Since the old field names can be used in the subsequent node,
the analysis process has to be adapted manually.
The node "&V1&" / "&V2&" was added in an older release.
The analysis process will be executed in compatibility mode.
The analysis process can continue to be used with older functions.
The use of newer functions such as intermediate results and data mining
functions is not possible. Thus we recommend adapting the definition of
the analysis process:
Create a new, empty analysis process and model the analysis process
again.
Alternatively: Delete the data source query node, add the node from the
function selection again, and link the new node with the subsequent node
again. The correct the settings in the subsequent node of the
renamed fields were used there.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
