Message text: Wage type & is not allowed in Infotype 0221
Due to possible errors in the posting and/or remittance process, and in
general payroll functionalities, the following wage types are not
allowed on Infotype 0221:
Wage types used for membership fees or union dues that are configured
in processing class 78 with specification values 3, 4, or 7.
Wage types used in garnishment processing. These wage types are
configured in processing class 60.
Membership fees/union dues wage types are not allowed because they use
V0 splits. In adjustments processing, the information contained in the
V0 split, such as creditor/provider information, is not processed. This
means the information about the creditor/provider is not available in
the posting/remittance process, which results in errors. And because
garnishment processing is not part of the adjustments process
garnishment wage types are not allowed on Infotype 221.
The record cannot be saved.
Check the configuration of the wage type entered or choose another wage
type that does not fall into one of the above categories.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
