Message text: You cannot maintain relationships between phases from different recipes
When transforming selected process stages, the system could not
transform the relationships
between the process operations of selected process stages and the
process operations of non-selected process stages.
As a result, the system could not determine the target phase
for which the relationship to phase &V1& is to be maintained.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Check the Customizing settings for the <DS:SIMG.RMS_MRTRS_0200>control
parameters for master recipe transformation</>.
If you want to transform only part of the general recipe (in other
words, you want to copy selected process stages only without
considering the relationship between the process operations of the
non-selected process stages), ensure that the <ZK>Master
Recipe Rel.</> field is set to <ZK>Warning</>, <ZK>Information</>, or
<ZK>Success Message</>.
If you want to transform the relationship between the process operations
of selected process stages and the process operations of non-selected
process stages, cancel the activity and transform the general recipe by
choosing <ZK>Copy All Stages</>.

RMXMTRF050
- You cannot maintain relationships between phases from different recipes ?The SAP error message RMXMTRF050, which states "You cannot maintain relationships between phases from different recipes," typically occurs in the context of SAP's Recipe Management or Process Order Management modules. This error indicates that there is an attempt to create or maintain a relationship between phases that belong to different recipes, which is not allowed in the system.
Cause:
- Different Recipes: The primary cause of this error is that the user is trying to establish a relationship (such as a predecessor or successor relationship) between phases that are defined in separate recipes. In SAP, relationships can only be maintained within the same recipe.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be a misunderstanding of how recipes and phases are structured in the system, leading to attempts to link phases across different recipes.
- Data Entry Error: The user may have inadvertently selected phases from different recipes due to incorrect navigation or selection.
Solution:
- Check Recipe Structure: Ensure that the phases you are trying to relate belong to the same recipe. You can do this by reviewing the recipe details in the SAP system.
- Maintain Relationships Within the Same Recipe: If you need to establish relationships, make sure to do so only between phases that are part of the same recipe.
- Review Documentation: Consult the SAP documentation or help resources related to Recipe Management to understand how to properly manage relationships between phases.
- Use Separate Recipes: If the phases genuinely belong to different recipes and need to interact, consider whether you can redesign the recipes or processes to accommodate this requirement without violating the system's constraints.
- Consult with SAP Support: If you believe that the error is occurring due to a system issue or if you need further assistance, consider reaching out to SAP support or your internal SAP team for guidance.
