What causes this issue?

You cannot change the valid-to date. The date is in the past.
You can only use a date in the past for the valid-from date if the
status of the first change status is 'In processing' and if the date
check flag is set in Customizing for the recipe.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Enter a date <ZU>from</> today's date for the valid-from and valid-to
dates.
Once the valid-to date has expired, no further changes can be made.
