Message text: Batch/stock determination not possible
Neither batch determination nor stock determination can be carried out
for the selected replenishment elements. Possible reasons for this
include:
Case 1: Batch and stock determination are only allowed for items to be
transferred directly. If reservations, WM transfer requirements or
KANBAN signals are created, this is carried out neutrally with respect
to batch and stock category.
Case 2: Material provision has already been carried out for the
replenishment element.
Case 3: Batch and replenshment source already defined.
Case 4.1: Before you can carry out batch determination, you must have
assigned a <DS:GLOS.batch_search_procedure>batch search procedure</> in
Customizing for the pull list.
Case 4.2: Before you can carry out stock determination, you must have
assigned a <DS:DE.BF_RULES>batch search procedure</> in Customizing for
the pull list. You must also have defined a <DS:DE.BF_GROUP>stock
determination group</> in the material master records of the components
in question.
In the case of this item, the reason is as in case &V1&.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If necessary, check the system settings in <DS:TRAN.OSPP>Customizing for
the pull list</>.
