  • Message class: RH - BW: Hierarchies ( basic functions )

  • Message number: 021

  • Message text: The root node & of the subtree is not in the hierarchy

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The hierarchy was loaded as a subtree. Root node &V1& of the subtree
does not exist in the target hierarchy. Since the root node of the
subtree is used as an interface between the subtree and the target
hierarchy, the node must exist in the target hierarchy or the target
    hierarchy may not exist.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

In the first case, all the nodes that hang under the root of the
subtree are inserted under the corresponding node in the target
hierarchy. In the second case, the subtree is created as a new
    hierarchy.

    System Response

    The hierarchy is not updated.

    How to fix this error?

The subtree or target hierarchy must be modified so that the root node
of the subtree is contained in the target hierarchy.
