  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The formula of row &V3& in block &V2& for adjustment control rule (=
representative list of rents) &V1& cannot be converted. During the
conversion, the system replaces the previous four-character variable
names with new variable names (maximum length of 30). As part of this
process, it is possible for the formula to exceed this length (maximum
    length of 80).
Also note that when converting the values of variables of type N, the
system encloses the values in quotation marks, if the new variable is of
    type C.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Before attempting the conversion again, you have to modify the logic of
the control table used until now. This has to be done in such a way that
the conversion of the previous variable names to the new variable names
is possible in the formula. This can be done, for instance, by
shortening the output by adding help variables that store intermediate
    results.
