SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: REMICL - Texts for Migration of Classic RE => RE-FX

  • Message number: 084

  • Message text: Enter a maximum number of ROs per collective lease-out

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

During the migration, the system can group together the contracts
belonging to a collective lease-out into one contract with the
corresponding number of rental objects. However, this does not happen if
you did not enter the number of contracts to be grouped together in
Customizing for the migration under <DS:SIMG.REFXV_TIVMISET>Make Basic
    Settings for Migration</>.
This message then appears only if the system finds a larger number of
individual contracts during the conversion of collective lease-outs.
Keep in mind that contracts that are too large (that is, contracts with
many objects and/or conditions) can reduce performance.
For more information on contracts and performance, see SAP note 915080.
Grouping contracts is not mandatory. Therefore you can also ignore this
    message, if appropriate.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message REMICL084 - Enter a maximum number of ROs per collective lease-out ?

The SAP error message REMICL084 indicates that there is a restriction on the maximum number of rental objects (ROs) that can be assigned to a collective lease-out. This error typically occurs in the context of managing leasing contracts within the SAP Real Estate Management (RE-FX) module.

    Cause:

The error is triggered when the number of rental objects you are trying to assign to a collective lease-out exceeds the predefined limit set in the system. This limit is configured in the system settings and is meant to ensure that the management of lease contracts remains efficient and manageable.

    Solution:

To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:

    1. Check Configuration Settings:

      • Navigate to the configuration settings for the Real Estate Management module.
      • Look for the settings related to collective lease-outs and verify the maximum number of rental objects allowed. This can typically be found in the customizing settings under:
        • SPRO > Real Estate Management > Master Data > Lease-Out > Define Collective Lease-Out.
      • If necessary, increase the maximum number of rental objects allowed per collective lease-out.
    2. Review Your Data Entry:

      • Ensure that you are not mistakenly trying to assign more rental objects than intended. Double-check the list of rental objects you are trying to include in the collective lease-out.
    3. Split the Lease-Out:

      • If increasing the limit is not feasible or if it does not align with your business processes, consider splitting the rental objects into multiple collective lease-outs, each containing a number of rental objects that is within the allowed limit.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • Review the SAP documentation or help files related to the Real Estate Management module for any additional guidelines or best practices regarding collective lease-outs.
    5. Contact SAP Support:

      • If you are unable to resolve the issue through configuration changes or data review, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance. They may provide insights specific to your system configuration or version.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: Familiarize yourself with relevant transaction codes in SAP RE-FX, such as:

      • RECN: For managing lease contracts.
      • REIS: For managing rental objects.
    • User Exits and BAdIs: If your organization has specific business requirements, consider checking for any user exits or Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) that might be relevant to collective lease-out processing.

    • Training and Documentation: Ensure that users involved in lease management are adequately trained on the system and understand the implications of the maximum limits for collective lease-outs.

By following these steps, you should be able to address the REMICL084 error and continue with your lease management activities in SAP.
