  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message REITOR035 - &1: All measurement values zero, option rate determination not possible ?

The SAP error message REITOR035 indicates that all measurement values for a particular resource or object are zero, which prevents the system from determining the rate for that resource. This error typically occurs in the context of SAP's Controlling (CO) module, particularly in the area of internal orders, cost centers, or production orders where measurement values are expected for cost allocation or rate determination.

    Cause:

    1. No Measurement Data: The most common cause is that there are no actual measurement values recorded for the resource or object in question. This could be due to:

      • No production or activity has taken place.
      • Measurement documents were not created or posted.
      • Incorrect configuration or settings in the measurement process.
    2. Incorrect Configuration: The configuration for the measurement points or the rate determination process may not be set up correctly, leading to the system not being able to find valid measurement data.

    3. Timing Issues: If the measurement values are expected to be posted in a certain period, and the period has not been closed or the values have not been updated, this error can occur.

    Solution:

    1. Check Measurement Data: Verify if there are any measurement documents posted for the relevant resource or object. You can do this by checking the relevant transaction codes (e.g., CJI3 for project reports, KOB1 for cost center reports).

    2. Post Measurement Values: If there are no measurement values, ensure that the necessary activities have been performed to generate these values. This may involve:

      • Posting actual hours worked.
      • Recording production quantities.
      • Ensuring that measurement documents are created and posted correctly.
    3. Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings for the measurement points and rate determination process. Ensure that all necessary settings are correctly defined in the system.

    4. Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or help resources related to the specific module you are working with (e.g., CO, PM, PP) to ensure that you are following the correct procedures for measurement and rate determination.

    5. Check for Timing Issues: Ensure that you are working within the correct posting period and that all necessary postings have been made for that period.
