What causes this issue?

You are posting two asset transactions in the same posting run.

System Response

In simulation mode, the system does not make a database-persistent save
after posting the first asset transaction. Therefore, the database
update of the first asset transaction is not available when posting the
second asset transaction. This results in either error messages or
incorrectly displayed amounts of posting documents.

How to fix this error?

Execute the posting run in update mode.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
