SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: RA - Monitoring structure dialog message

  • Message number: 276

  • Message text: Unable to delete node (presentation only)

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You are creating your own monitor definition. The system displays a
static inventory of the systems that can be included in your monitor. It
does not make sense to delete these nodes, they are for presentation
only. You can only delete virtual nodes and rule nodes.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

From the list of selectable MTEs, choose the monitoring objects and
attributes that you want to include in your monitor. These MTEs are
static, that is, your monitor will not be automatically updated with any
new MTEs that are entered in this inventory.
If you no longer want to create a monitor, return to the initial screen
of the alert monitor without saving your monitor definition.
