  • What causes this issue?

You tried to assign an invalid type to the DataSource. The following
    types are valid:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

'MSD' for DataSources that potentially extract attributes.
'TEXT' for DataSources that potentially extract texts.
'TRAN' for DataSources that potentially extract transaction data.
'HCAT' for DataSources that extract hierarchy catalogs.
'HNOD' for DataSources that extract the nodes of a hierarchy.
With 'potentially', we mean that, in addition to the usual way in which
data is used, it might perhaps be necessary to regard attributes as
transaction data. In a HR scenario, for example, you might want to
interpret the attributes for an employee as transaction data.

    System Response

The DataSource cannot be saved as it is now.
