    characteristic and the total of the lengths of any compounded
    characteristics.
    There are additional length restrictions related to the <LS>Temporal
    Hierarchy Join </>function. The maximum permitted length for
    characteristic &V1& is &V2& characters. Characteristic &V1& has exceeded
    this maximum length.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Change the length of characteristic &V1& to a maximum of &V2& characters
    or deactivate the <LS>Temporal Hierarchy Join</> function.
