  • Message type: E = Error

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The characteristic or InfoCube was activated within the framework of
the after-import method. This does not normally occur in the BW
    clients. This occurs
so that only cross-client number range objects can be created, and not
    client-dependent intervals.

    System Response

The interval is usually created automatically if a number has to be
    created for the first time.
This can also be necessary in the after-import method if navigation
attributes for characteristics were activated. The affected
characteristics can then be activated in the after-import method.

    How to fix this error?

Manually activate the characteristic or InfoCube in the BW client. By
doing so, the interval is automatically created.
Alternatively, you can also repair the characteristic. By doing so, the
    interval is also automatically created.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
