    ed or determined.

    When you activate the object, the respective table is created in the dat
    abase with a number of partitions that corresponds to the value range:
    InfoCube: Fact table
    DataStore object: Table of active records

    How can this happen?

    Value range for fiscal year/calendar month ,,
    from 01.1998
    to 12.2003
    6 years * 12 months + 2 = 74 partitions are created,,(including 2 partit
    ions for values that lie outside of the value range < 01.1998 or >
    12.2003).

    How to fix this error?

    Specify the value range. Note that you can only change the value range w
    hile the object does not contain any data.
    With InfoCubes you can restrict the maximum number of partitions (input
    field).
