  • What causes this issue?

    Navigation attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& is new. All values for
    this navigation attribute must now be available in the master data
    tables and the attributes SID tables of the characteristic.
    Otherwise the 'join' for the query can deliver an empty result,
    although suitable data exists in the InfoCube.

    When activating characteristic &V1& missing entries in the master data
    tables and attributes SID tables of characteristic &V1& are
    automatically inserted. Depending on the size of these tables and the
    number of different attribute values, this can sometimes take a long
    time.

    How to fix this error?

    If activation takes a very long time or is canceled because of timeout,
    you will have to carry out the activation in the background. To do this
    select 'Characteristic --> Activate in Background'.
