The characteristic becomes a data target or InfoProvider through the
assignment of an InfoArea. This is only possible if the characteristic
has text or master data. Characteristic &V1& has neither master data
nor Text.
There is no point having navigation attributes for the characteristic
as as InfoProvider.
InfoArea &V2& is removed again and cannot be entered.
In addition, the navigation attributes for the characteristic as
InfoProvider are removed.
Change characteristic &V1& so that is has either master data or text.
You will then be able to assign an InfoArea, or insert the
characteristic as a data target.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
