  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Until now there were only time-dependent or only time-independent
attributes for characteristic &V1&. An attribute is now added so that
&V2& is generated for the first time.
Alternatively, characteristic &V1& has no attributes, and
time-dependency is reversed automatically, because as from Release 2.0
there are only time-dependent attributes and no time-dependent
    characteristic values anymore.

    System Response

The new &V2& must be filled with master data from the characteristic,
otherwise the view over the time-independent and time-dependent master
data table will be empty. The length of time taken depends on the
    quantity of master data records.

    How to fix this error?

If activation takes a very long time, or is canceled because of
timeout, you will have to carry out the activation in the background.
To do this select 'Characteristic' --> Activate in Background'.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
