  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The target version &V2& of the info structure &V1& already contains
    data.

    System Response

The update was canceled as a result of a possible data inconsistency.

    How to fix this error?

An update can only take place into empty versions because of the danger
    of data inconsistency.
If the target version is not the actual version '000', first delete the
    contents of the target version.
Refer to the following note in the case of an update to the actual
version and perform the update again.
    &NOTE&
    <ZH>Update to the Actual Version</>
If quality notifications, usage decisions or inspection results have
already been archived in your system, you cannot delete version '000'
for the archiving period and its relevant info structures, since an
update using archived data is not supported in the Quality Management
    component.
If archiving has taken place, choose a version other than the actual
version and use the copy function to bring the data in the actual
version into line with the updated data.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
