completed process instance for the same process, the completed process
instance cannot be deleted. This is to avoid gap between process
instances.
The completed process instances will not be deleted.
Start and complete those process instances earlier than the current
completed process instance first.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
