    You cannot delete the policy type because it is used by policies. If you
    want to delete the policy type, remove it from policies first in Policy
    Configuration application.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    To remove the policy type from the policies that use it, take the
    following steps:
    In the left panel of Configuration Workbench, select <LS>Policy Type</>
    from the dropdown list and double-click the policy type to select it.
    On the right side, choose the Where-Used List icon at the top.
    The Where-Used List displays the type, ID, and name of all the objects
    that are referencing this policy type.
    Record the ID of the policies that use this policy type.
    Navigate to the <LS>Policy Configuration</> application to delete the
    policy. To delete a policy, the payroll process manager might first need
    to complete and delete the processes that use this policy in <LS>Process
    Management</> application.
