  • What causes this issue?

To control the access to payroll processes, Payroll Control Center uses
the authorization object Payroll Data Source Instance (P_PYD_INST). The
authorization field Payroll Data Source Instance ID (P_PYD_INST) is
mapped with the process ID preceded by an authorization prefix.
The authorization prefix helps to group processes that belong to the
same HR organizational assignment. And roles can be easily defined by
using the authorization prefix and a wildcard.
For this purpose, the authorization prefix is mandatory for generating
the data source instance for every process.

Group the processes and assign a proper authorization prefix to each
    group.

    configure processes.
In transaction <AB>PFCG </>(Role Maintenance), assign the authorization
of processes (using the authorization prefix and a wildcard) to relevant
