Message number: 003
Message text: Public Sector Management component is not active
Source-based cash flow reporting does not work. The Public Sector
Management (PSM) component provides the following totals tables:
PSGLFLEXT
If the business function PSM, Cash-Basis Accounting and Cash Flow
Reporting (PSM_FA_CASH) is not active, you cannot use the PSGLFLEXT
totals table.
FMGLFLEXT
The field RE_ACCOUNT is used to trace cash through the system.
Therefore, PSM must be activated for the system to perform source-based
cash flow reporting.
Contact your system administrator.
Activate PSM using the Customizing activity Activate Global Funds
Management Functions (PSM-FM).
If you are activating PSM for the first time, all existing general
ledgers become invisible. You can either create new ledgers or reassign
existing general ledgers using the report Change Application from FI-GLF
to FI-PSM (FMGL_CHANGE_APPL_IN_LEDGER). For more information, see SAP
Note 840783.
If you have activated the business functions for cash flow, PSM,
Cash-Basis Accounting and Cash Flow Reporting (PSM_FA_CASH) or PSM, Fund
Accounting 2 (PSM_FA_CI_2), then you must run the method Postprocessing
(CL_PSM_GL_EX_LEDGERS=>IF_EX_SFW_SWITCH_CHANGED~POSTPROCESS_SWITCH)
using the class builder, transaction SE24.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
