    The same status can only be assigned multiple iPPE object types if
    the same technical type (node, variant, or alternative)
    and application are assigned.
    Example:
    You cannot assign <ZH>STATUS_1</> to the node type
    <ZH>S_GEN</> and variant type <ZH> S_CMPST</> at the same time
    because the technical
    types are different. In addition, you cannot assign <ZH>STATUS_1</> to
    a node type of the application
    <ZH>product structure (CMP)</> and a node type of the application
    <ZH>process structure (ACT)</>.
    However, you can assign
    <ZH>STATUS_1</> to the component variant and assembly item because
    the technical types (variant) and the
    applications (product structure (CMP)) are the same.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Choose <LS>General Settings ->
    <DS:TRAN.OPPESTATUS>Define Settings for Status Management</></>
    in iPPE Customizing, and make the relevant settings under
    <LS>Status Object Types</>.
