  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The entry specified in Customizing for profiles (table CGIPVSMDL,
Customizing transaction OPPE11) could not be created.
The system has attempted to update the model definition in this entry.
However, attempt to create a new data record triggered an exception.
This could have one of the following reasons:
A user is using the Customizing transaction and is locking the data
    record.
The database server cannot be reached.
    The database is full.

    System Response

The system rolls back all database-relevant actions up until the last
commit. This results in an inconsistent database status which can,
however, be resolved if you restart the report.

    How to fix this error?

Check for the possible reason for the error, and resolve the problem.
If another user is currently accessing the data, he or she is not
allowed to save the data, since this could cause irreparable
    inconsistencies!
Then restart the report. The conversion can be carried out in several
stages without problem, as long as no other changes are made to the
relevant database objects in the meantime.
