What causes this issue?

You copied a device type using the RSPOSHOWDT report.

System Response

This copy function converts a device type configured using device type
or format derivation into a device type that does not use these
configuration options.
The generated device type is therefore compatible for use in SAP R/3
releases prior to 4.6A.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
