Message text: Kanban quantity not sufficient, reverse posting not possible
You carry out a reverse posting with reference to a kanban container.
This means that the cancelled material quantity is withdrawn from the
kanban container again and the kanban container is, if applicable, set
to EMPTY.
The quantity in the kanban container is now, however, smaller than the
quantity for which you are carrying out the reverse posting.
The system has to withdraw a smaller quantity than that for which the
posting is carried out. This is rejected.
If you want to carry out the reverse posting with this material
quantity, you can increase the quantity in the kanban container using
the kanban correction. However, you must analyse beforehand, why the
quantity in the kanban container is too small. It is possible that you
were working with the quantity signal. Then it may be advisable to
withdraw the difference, to which you have increased the actual quantity
of the kanban container, from another kanban container. This can also be
done with the kanban correction.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
