- Table &1 structure is not defined in the TEDC file. ?The SAP error message PFQ1058 indicates that a specific table structure is not defined in the TEDC (Table Entry Data Control) file. This error typically arises in the context of SAP's data dictionary or when working with database tables and structures.
Cause:
- Missing Definition: The table structure referenced in the error message is not defined in the TEDC file. This could happen if the table was recently created or modified and the changes were not properly reflected in the TEDC.
- Transport Issues: If the table structure was transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may have been an issue during the transport process that caused the definition to be missing.
- Custom Development: If the table is a custom development, it may not have been properly registered or defined in the system.
Solution:
- Check Table Definition: Verify that the table structure exists in the Data Dictionary (SE11). If it does not exist, you may need to create it or ensure that it is properly defined.
- Update TEDC: If the table structure exists but is not reflected in the TEDC, you may need to update the TEDC file. This can often be done by regenerating the relevant objects or using transaction codes like SE14 (Database Utility) to adjust the database structure.
- Transport Request: If the issue is related to a transport, check the transport logs for errors. You may need to re-transport the object or manually adjust the TEDC in the target system.
- Check for Custom Code: If the table is part of a custom development, ensure that all necessary components are included in the transport request and that the custom code is properly activated.
- Consult Documentation: Review any relevant SAP notes or documentation that may provide additional context or solutions for this specific error.
