What causes this issue?

No master cost center assignment or cost distribution can be maintained
as no account assignment features have been maintained for the
organizational structure (infotype 1008).
The acount assignment feature is required for validation as integration
in your system between Funds and Position Management and Organizational
Management is active. All cost centers must belong to an FM area which
must be assigned to the organizational structure.
An organizational structure's FM area is indirectly determined via the
company code of the account assignment feature (every company code is
assigned to an FM area).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Maintain the account assignment features for the organizational
structure. You must maintain an account assignment feature for the root
of your organizational structure and store at least one company code.
If integration between funds and position management and organizational
management is active, the account assignment feature for the root of
the organizational structure must contain no gaps.
