    The package hierarchy of package &V3& is not really hierarchical:
    this means that if you proceed from package &V3& always to the immediate
    superpackage, you never get to the end (= root package of package
    hierarchy; has no superpackage assigned) since the package hierarchy has
    a ring closure.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
