    No personnel number was found for the user in ESS. There is no
    connection via infotype <ZK>Communication</> (0105) subtype 0001 with
    the user name.

    How to fix this error?

    If this occurs while you are making your choices as an employee, you
    should contact the Personnel Administration.
    If this occurs in a test system, you should link your user to the test
    person you want to simulate. You can do this by creating a record in
    infotype <ZK>Communication</> (0105) subtype 0001 of the test person, in
    which you include the user name.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
