- Out-of-sync selected; command will be changed to CHECKIN...continue ? ?The SAP error message OIUXI061 indicates that there is an issue with the synchronization of the selected object in the SAP system. This typically occurs in the context of SAP's Document Management System (DMS) or when working with SAP's Object Information System (OIS). The error suggests that the selected object is out of sync, and as a result, the system will change the command to a CHECKIN operation.
Cause:
- Out-of-Sync State: The object you are trying to work with has been modified or is not in sync with the current state in the database. This can happen if changes were made to the object outside of the current session or if there are pending changes that have not been saved.
- Concurrent Modifications: If multiple users are trying to modify the same object simultaneously, it can lead to synchronization issues.
- Network Issues: Temporary network issues can also cause the system to lose sync with the database.
Solution:
- Check Object Status: Verify the status of the object you are trying to work with. Ensure that it is not being edited by another user or process.
- Refresh the Object: Try refreshing the object or reloading the data to ensure you have the latest version. This can often resolve synchronization issues.
- Check for Pending Changes: If there are any pending changes that need to be checked in, do so before attempting to perform further actions on the object.
- Use CHECKIN Command: Since the system is automatically changing the command to CHECKIN, you can proceed with that command to save any changes and synchronize the object.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance related to the object type you are working with.
