SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: OIO_VMIS - RLM VMIS

  • Message number: 582

  • Message text: Route not found between & and &; ensure connection points are correct

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system cannot create shipments from location A to location B
automatically, since no route is defined between these two locations.
Routes can be determined either via Connection Points, or simply by
reading the Route from the location master. In the first case the
direction of the route is also important, for example, a route from
location A to B is not suitable for a shipment from location B to A.

    How to fix this error?

If the route determination in the location master (O403) is set to
"Shipment Route", then that field has to be filled with a route. If the
determination if set to "Connection Point", then you have to enter a
valid connection point to that field.
In the latter case a route also has to be set up in customizing. The
    menu path is:
Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Remote Logistics Management) -
Shipping - Voyage Management and Information System - Define Routes and
    Stages.
For details, please refer to the customizing documentation on this
    topic.
