What causes this issue?

Any function that causes an update to all the quantity fields also
effects the vehicles to which the transport unit is assigned. One of
the vehicles to which this transport unit is assigned is currently
being edited and so cannot be updated with the new quantities.
Functions affecting all the quantity fields include changing total
weights or inserting, deleting and changing compartments that will
effect the total volume.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
