Remove Product Group Assignment:
- If you determine that the product group assignment is no longer needed, you can remove it.
- Use transaction code
MM02
(Change Material) to modify the material.- Go to the relevant view (e.g., Sales Org. Data) and remove the product group assignment.
Delete the Material:
- After removing the product group assignment, you can attempt to delete the material again using transaction code
MM06
(Flag Material for Deletion).Check for Dependencies:
- Ensure that there are no other dependencies or links to the material that might prevent deletion. This includes checking for open purchase orders, sales orders, or stock.
