  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The conversion modes "automatic" and "semi-automatic" may require
defaults to be maintained prior to Quantity Conversion Interface (QCI)
processing for raw materials. This plant/storage combination uses one
    of these two conversion modes.

    How to fix this error?

Either change the conversion mode in Customizing to use a different
conversion mode (that is, 3 or 4), or maintain the default parameters
for the material. If your system is configured to use the new default
    transaction, use Transaction O3DEFAULTS.
If your system is still set up to use the old default transaction and
table, use Transactions O3C1 and O3C2.
You can check the setup of your system with Transaction O590.

    5. Configuration Issues: There may be issues with the configuration settings in the system that prevent the defaults from being determined.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Material Master Data: Verify that the material master for the raw material is complete and correctly configured. Ensure that all necessary views are maintained.

    2. Review BOM: If the raw material is part of a BOM, check that the BOM is correctly defined and that the raw material is included.
