Message text: Quantity Conversion Interface: This module is not released for customers
You have attempted to use a conversion group for quantity conversion
calculations that is not released for general use by SAP. With release
4.6B and 4.6C, SAP delivers example conversion groups e.g. for asphalt
conversion, which include a call to a function module
OIB_QCI_ASPHALT_VCF (defined in table OIB04) and for LPG conversions,
which include a call to function module OIB_QCI_LPGE (defined in table
OIB04). These modules are not released for customers, but can serve as
a basis for the development of customer specific modules. If such
modules are developed in the customer name space, you only have to use
transaction O588, choose the "External function calls and sequence"
path and change the function module name in the conversion group entry
to the new name. Then, the conversion group can be used.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
The system stops processing.
Copy the function module which is blocked with this error message into
a customer function group. Remove the call to function module
OIL_CHECK_SYSTEM. Check the implementation logic and test the results
before using the copied function in production. SAP can not be held
responsible for any damage that might occur if you copy such example
function modules and utilize such functions without proper testing and
verification of the functions.
Change the customizing setting of the conversion group (new function
module name).
