Message text: Active table would be partitioned during remodeling
Currently, the active table &V1& is not partitioned. When the DataStore
Object is activated again, the active table will be automatically
partitioned. If this happened during remodeling, errors would occur
during modification of the existing data.
Activating, scheduling or running the remodeling rule is not possible.
Go to the DataStore Object transaction RSDODS or RSA1, and activate the
DataStore Object in order to make sure that the activate table is
partitioned correctly. Once the table has been partitioned, run the
remodeling rule.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

This error typically arises in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP HANA when you are trying to remodel a data model that involves partitioned tables.
Cause:
The error occurs because the remodeling process is attempting to change the structure of an active table that is currently partitioned. Check Active Table Status: Ensure that the active table you are trying to remodel is not currently in use or locked by any other processes. You may need to wait until any ongoing processes are completed.
Review Partitioning Settings: Examine the partitioning settings of the active table. If the table is partitioned, consider whether you can temporarily remove the partitioning or adjust the remodeling process to accommodate the existing partitions.
Use the Right Tools: Make sure you are using the appropriate tools and transactions for remodeling. In SAP BW, for example, you might use the Data Warehousing Workbench (RSA1) to manage your InfoProviders.
Perform a Consistency Check: Run a consistency check on the data model to identify any other potential issues that may be causing the error.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of SAP you are using. There may be specific guidelines or patches available that address this error.
Backup and Test: Before making significant changes, ensure you have a backup of your data model. Test the remodeling process in a development or test environment before applying it to production.
