This error typically arises in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP HANA when you are trying to remodel a data model that involves partitioned tables.

    Cause:

The error occurs because the remodeling process is attempting to change the structure of an active table that is currently partitioned. 3. Use the Right Tools: Make sure you are using the appropriate tools and transactions for remodeling. In SAP BW, for example, you might use the Data Warehousing Workbench (RSA1) to manage your InfoProviders.

    4. Perform a Consistency Check: Run a consistency check on the data model to identify any other potential issues that may be causing the error.

    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of SAP you are using. There may be specific guidelines or patches available that address this error.

    6. Backup and Test: Before making significant changes, ensure you have a backup of your data model. Test the remodeling process in a development or test environment before applying it to production.

    7. Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists after trying the above solutions, consider reaching out to SAP Support for further assistance. They may provide insights specific to your system configuration.
