Message type: E = Error
Message class: NAA - Subsequent settlement (Purchasing)
Message number: 199
Message text: Proposed date "31.12.9999" does not make sense (see long text)
If possible, do not create arrangements with a validity period of more
than one year.
For certain functions (detailed statement, recompilation of business
volume data, retrospective business volume update), the system needs
all the documents for the arrangement. These should not be archived at
this time.
If the arrangement has a long validity period, a very large number of
documents may be involved (performance problems). Processing also
becomes much more complex.
As a rule, it does not make business sense to accumulate business
volumes over periods longer than the current fiscal year.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If possible, create arrangements with shorter validity periods.
For arrangements that are to be valid for longer periods, use the
extension function (see documentation). Here, you create a separate
arrangement for each (fiscal) year.
The complete document data must be kept available on the database for
the duration of the arrangement.
