  • What causes this issue?

    For allocation rule generation, the allocation categories in the model
    allocation rule must be assigned different quota values.
    When allocation rules are generated referencing a model allocation
    rule, allocation categories are used for grouping the plants together.
    The system groups the plants based on the RIS key figure value for an
    allocation category in the model allocation rule, proceeding as
    follows:
    Determination of the largest key figure value
    The allocation category with the largest quota value is assigned to
    this key figure value.
    Using the rule of three, the upper limit of the remaining allocation
    categories is calculated on the basis of the first category.
    Each plant is assigned to an allocation category in the allocation rule
    on the basis of its key figure value.
    The value of the allocation category is assigned a quota to the plants
    in an allocation category. This grouping can then be used to create an
    allocation rule.

    System Response

    The allocation rule cannot be created.

    How to fix this error?

    Assign different values for the allocation categories in the model
    allocation rule.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Plant1 1000
    Plant2 600
    Plant3 400
    Calculation of allocation category upper limits:
    1st allocation category for fast-movers: 500 <=> 1000
    2nd allocation category for slow-movers: 250 <=> x
    => 1000/500x250 = 500
