The result of the fast change is as follows:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If the number of changed items is not the same as the number of
selected items, this can have various reasons, including:
An error occurred when the new data was being transferred to the item.

displayed in the fast change log.
The item can no longer be changed.
An item can no longer be changed if follow-on documents have already
been generated.
The field concerned is already filled in the item.
