  • What causes this issue?

You have entered a display version that has not yet been created in
Customizing, or for which a list layout has not yet been maintained in
    Customizing.
For the stock overview, you must define for at least the display
variants "Basic list" and "Breakdown list" the stock types that are to
be displayed and the order in which they are displayed.
For the display variant "Segregated list", it is not absolutely
necessary to specify the stock types to be displayed. If no display
version has been maintained for it, all stock types in the system are
    displayed in the segregated list.
