This error typically arises when the system cannot find the necessary active table for the specified InfoObject, which is essential for processing data in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP HANA.

    Cause:

    1. Missing Active Table: The active table for the specified InfoObject is not available or has not been generated. This can happen if the InfoObject was not properly activated or if there were issues during the data modeling process.
    2. Incorrect Configuration: There may be a misconfiguration in the InfoObject settings or in the data model that references this InfoObject.

    Solution:

    1. Activate the InfoObject: Go to the InfoObject in the SAP BW modeling tools and ensure that it is activated. You can do this by navigating to the InfoObject and selecting the "Activate" option.
    2. Check for Active Table: Verify if the active table exists in the database. You can do this by checking the relevant database tables in the SAP system.
    3. Rebuild the Data Model: If the InfoObject is part of a larger data model, consider rebuilding or reactivating the entire data model to ensure all components are correctly configured.
    4. Transport Request: If the InfoObject was transported, check the transport request to ensure that all necessary components, including the active table, were included.
    5. Check for Dependencies: Ensure that all dependencies related to the InfoObject are correctly set up and activated.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: You can use transaction codes like RSA1 (Data Warehousing Workbench) to access the InfoObject and check its status.

    • Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation for InfoObjects and data modeling in BW to understand the requirements for activation and configuration.
