  • What causes this issue?

    For a purchase order item to be created for this material, the
    <DS:GLOS.base_unit_of_measure>base unit of measure</> must be locked to
    ensure that the base unit is not changed in the material master while
    the purchase order is being created. However, the base unit is
    presently locked because it is being changed in the material master.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Try to create the purchase order for this material again later.
