  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You tried to transfer configuration data from a item containing an
unchanged material variant to a copy that already contains a changed
    variant.

    System Response

    This function is not possible.

    How to fix this error?

Delete the copy and create a new one.

    Procedure for System Administrators

Basically the problem is that you could transfer the data to the
changed variant and then you may get the variant data with a 'free'
cuobj in the item in the replay - which is not ideal.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

If you replace the cuobj by the marc-cuobj in the copy, you run the
risk of the variant being changed when the object dependencies are
processed - not ideal either. Or they aren't processed at all and the
vcsd_update data will not match. We don't want this either.
