  • What causes this issue?

    The system has tried to insert a new record in table MALG (layout
    modules) and to assign the key field LMNUM. However, there are no more
    free values in the interval allowed. As a result, no further keys can
    be created.
    This situation occurs only very rarely because the range defined for
    field LMNUM is normally sufficient for all conceivable cases. However,
    it depends on:
    Number of layout modules to which a material in a given unit of measure
    is assigned
    How often this data has been changed

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Contact SAP to arrange for your database data to be restructured.
