Message type: E = Error
Message class: MH - Maintain Material Master Data (Retail)
Message number: 073
Message text: You have not yet maintained the & screen for the generic material
You are maintaining a variant of a <DS:GLOS.generic_material>generic
material</>. However, you can maintain only those views that have
already been maintained for the generic material.
The system skips the <LS>&V1&</> screen, and any others that cannot be
maintained for this reason.
First maintain the relevant view(s) for the generic material. You can
then maintain them for the variants as required.
A generic material has already been created from the <LS>Basic Data</>
and <LS>POS</> views. While changing the generic material, you select
the <LS>Logistics: Distribution Center</> and <LS>Logistics: Store</>
views, and also the <LS>POS</> view since you want to change something
there.
On the <LS>Logistics: Distribution Center</> screen, you choose
<LS>Areas of validity</> to switch to one of the variants. After
entering your data as required, you choose <LS>Enter</> to leave the
screen.
Since the generic material has not yet been maintained from the
<LS>Logistics: Store</> view, this view is not yet active for the
variant. Instead, the system displays the <LS>POS</> screen with the
data for the variant.
